SNEAK PREVIEW

I've attached the grapes and stalk onto the Pink Champagne wall hanging this morning.

And have decided to add a tiny bit of green, just to lift the whole picture.
this is worked in Yarn Art Green lutex thread using a tiny size 0.90mm hook.
Need my glasses and magnifier to make these, poor old eyes aren't all they were . lol

the gold cord that I was making has been curled around the outside edge and I have added a curl of gold.

Not sure if I will add more of these curls yet, will have to wait and see.

In the meantime enjoy a picture of wilow perched on the sofa, she's my little doggy and follows me everywhere.

FIRST PIECE OF SCRUMBLE I MADE.

Front

Back

I thought I'd show you the very first piece of scrumble that I made, one of the pieces that got me started on the work that I  now make.
This piece is more traditional freeform and not stitched onto a backing.
Each little piece was joined as I went, either crochet or knitting.

I tend to use childrens or very short knitting needles for all of my scrumble work as they are easier to handle.
I called this piece simply Autumn.

THE GRAPES ARE ON.

The grapes are no sewn in place, I was going to put 4 bunches on but it looked a bit over the top and so have decided on 3 only.

Now I am making a long length of gold cord to make the vine, this will I hope look okay curled around the grapes, along the side and under the bottom.  But......as I have been known to change my mind it could all change. lol

Instructions for this cord can be found here
